These cards show three historic Nestlé advertisements show some of the methods thr company founded by Henri Nestlé used to undermine breastfeeding at the beginning of the last century. The cards are blank inside and on the back explain about the work of Baby Milk Action and our partners in the International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN).
While advertisments like these have now been outlawed in many countries, Nestlé continues to undermine breastfeeding, by, for example, claiming its formula 'protect babies (see our July 2009 Campaign for Ethical Marketing action sheet).
