Health campaigners from across Europe speak about their work to hold baby food companies to account and support for the Nestlé boycott -

Recorded at the IBFAN Europe meeting, Montecatini, Italy, April 2006.

The International Baby Food Action Network consists of over 200 groups in more than 100 countries. Representatives of 50 groups across the European region gathered in Montecatini in April to plan, train and share experiences.

Baby Milk Action, the UK member of IBFAN, took the opportunity to ask participants about their current concerns, past successes and the role the Nestlé boycott and other company campaigns play in protecting infant and young child health in their countries.

The interviews include comments from the IBFAN Europe Coordinator, Lida Lhotska. A representative from Armenia gives in-depth explanation of the problems they have experienced and how a Baby Milk Action campaign stopped Nestlé's aggressive marketing. Problems with Hipp continue and you can continue to support our campaign (click here for a sample letter). Participants voice their support for the Nestlé boycott and send messages of support to boycotters everywhere.
